Business Valuations

Pritchard, Bieler, Gruver & Willison, P.C. (PBGW) is a full-service certified public accounting and business consulting firm located in Colmar, Pa.  Formed in the fall of 1999 following the split of our former firm, Niessen, Dunlap & Pritchard, P.C., our Financial Valuation Group offers extensive experience in business valuations and intangible asset valuation.

Irrespective of whether the business valuation is needed for due diligence reporting, across-the-table negotiations, or rigorous expert testimony, PBGW upholds the principle that there is no better alternative to a credible, thorough, and dependable valuation report.  Furthermore, we understand you expect valuations to be prepared by an expert who is adept to explain, in layman’s language, the underlying assumptions and details in a fluid manner to all interested parties.  PBGW has the credentials and ability to provide such valuation services to your satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

PBGW’s Financial Valuation Group of CPAs and a Senior Member ASA have numerous years experience in valuing businesses and providing litigation support and forensic accounting services.  Our on-staff ASA has over 23 years of hands-on valuation experience in business valuations and intangible asset valuations, including expert testimony in over 25 business valuation disputes.

Each business valuation performed by PBGW receives close attention from either one of our most experienced CPAs or our ASA, an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers.

Pritchard, Bieler, Gruver & Willison, P.C., performs valuations of minority and controlling interests in closely held corporations, partnerships, professional practices, and sole proprietorships.

PBGW’s intangible asset valuation expertise includes valuation of trademarks and tradenames, covenants not to compete, patents, proprietary technology, copyrights, computer software, publishing rights, and nonamortizable intangible assets such as goodwill and going concern value.
